MP3 player?

Thanks to these wonderful activities and courses offered to us by one of the most innovative library systems in the country, the Orange County Library System. I am going to use everything I have learned to better myself and those around me. The knowledge I have gained will allow me to use my new MP3 player in as many ways as possible. I can download music, books, and even podcasts. I am very excited because I currently do not have such a useful piece of technology at my disposal. I will finally become a part of this new technological transformation first hand. I no longer have to just watch, I can participate. Viva la Technology and Bibliotecha! Music is my Passion

The whole digital rights management debate is quite confusing. I can't totally get my hands around the whole issue and its many branches, but I do strongly feel that media should be offered with unrestricted rights or pay per use for its users. With undeniable certainty, music is my passion. It is a feeling, a movement, a sound, a way to communicate, an interpretation of the spirit. I personally do not currently play any musical instruments, but certainly do resonate music from my pores. It's a mind, body, and spiritual connection that one either possesses or does not. I am very excited to learn of the many websites and services offered when it comes to music. Last FM, Liveplasma, Music Map, and the like all have there place. If its going to make our lives easier and more likely to discover new artists, why not make the use of them. I have not as of yet studied music in any professional capacity, but one day I do hope to speak, and speak volumes with the beautiful notes, sounds, and colors that music exemplifies.

Sharing

Life is the sort of thing that must be shared with others to fully appreciate the human experience. We as humans are social creatures that thrive on community. The human element lives on the kindness, happiness, cooperation, shared interest, and peace of one another. On-line learning is another avenue for us to explore and allows for a more rapid absorption of knowledge than previously permitted in history. Helping others is the natural process of being a kind, friendly, and overall free spirit. I encourage everyone to help others as often and readily as possible. In my life, many have helped in the making of who and what I am. It's a process, much like the whole learning process in general; much like this whole thing called Life.exe. Not to mention the whole Web 2.0 generation of online services that we have recently been exposed to. Thus, if we all work together to make this life, this existence, everything we dream, then certainly we all do benefit from the positive actions of each other.
